Using Library Catalogue

Juolukka database is a library catalogue of Lapland Academic Libraries:

• Library of Lapland University
• Library of the Arctic Centre
• Library of Lapland Institute for Tourism Research and Education 
• Library of the Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences
• Library of the Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences
  

JUOLUKKA database contains

• Information on books, research reports, theses, dissertations and other items available at the Lapland Academic Libraries
• Information on printed journals, but NOT on individual articles.

JUOLUKKA doesn’t contain information on electronic journals. These can be found in Nelli:

• Electronic journals in Nelli
• Electronic books in Nelli

When you are looking for publications in the JUOLUKKA-catalogue, you have two search options:

• The Basic Search, which is handy for simple searches by title, author or journal title.
• The Advanced Search, which is suitable for more advanced searches by topic, because it allows you to easily combine several search terms.
