Grants available through our university
When participating in exchange through one our university’s exchange agreements, you are eligible for an exchange grant. The amount of the grant depends on the chosen exchange programme and on the length of the exchange. You can apply for our exchange grants through the SoleGRANT system, which is accessed by first logging in to the SoleMOVE system.
You will get the grant in two parts: the first payment before the exchange and the second one after the exchange. To get the second payment you are required to write a report on your training. The paid amounts vary according to the programmes.
You are recommended to request external grants from foundations, organizations, funds, societies, etc. You may request for example CIMO grants, country-specific grants, or grants given by organizations such as the Finnish Japanese Society. There are plenty of tips and links available on the Internet. You should also be active and apply in good time because each organization has its own application period.
