The conference will be held at Sallatunturi in Salla - in the Middle of Nowhere. Accommodation as well as evening events will be arranged at the Sallatunturin Tuvat. The scientific programme will be held at Spa Hotel Revontuli located about 500 metres from the Sallatunturin Tuvat.
The unique wilderness area, with its diverse natural environment, provides a setting for unforgettable experiences for anyone visiting Salla, an opportunity to experience the touch of the wild in the way they have always dreamed of. The proximity of Russia, which you can witness with your own eyes, lends the region its own mystical and exotic aura. The presence of history can almost be felt when visiting various sites, where some of the fiercest Second World War battles were fought. The theatre of war left numerous scars on the scenery: war materiel, trenches, dugouts and memorials.
English is the official language of the conference.
