Organisation

• The University of Lapland, the Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences, and the Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences, along with their constituent communities, will form the Lapland Higher Education Consortium.
   
• The Consortium will adhere to what is known as the dual model; that is, the degrees awarded by the institutions differ in profile according to the needs of working life, art and research.
   
• The Consortium will have a joint organisation for strategic decision-making.
   
• The Consortium will have uniform administrative and support services.
