International Student Barometer

International Student - Your Views Count!

The University of Lapland is taking part in the International Student Barometer (ISB) together with other Finnish institutions of higher education. This survey is targeted at both international degree and exchange students, who are registered at the University of Lapland in the Autumn semester 2014. The survey is open until December 5th 2014.

As the Rector of the University of Lapland, and the Chair of the Executive Board of the Student Union of the University (LYY), we are inviting you to participate in the survey and help us improve the student experience for current and future students. We know that living at the Arctic Circle presents its own challenges and therefore, we are eager to hear your opinions about being an international student in the EU’s northernmost university.

As a thank-you for completing the survey, the University of Lapland offers you the chance to win a half-day husky safari. Three prizes will be drawn.

Please check your email and click the hyperlink to the online survey.

The ISB survey is part of the University of Lapland’s quality assurance system, the goal of which is to encourage students to make their voices heard as well as to improve the quality of teaching and learning. The ISB survey gives us valuable information about your reasons for choosing to study at ULapland and what your experiences have been. The results are compared with other institutions’ which will help us analyze the quality of our services, teaching and learning. The survey forms part of a wider ongoing study and is independently administered by the International Graduate Insight Group (www.i-graduate.org). Your feedback will be combined with that of others and your name and email address removed, so that responses become anonymous.

Thank you in advance.
