Important Forms and Deadlines

In addition to accepting your study place and registrating to the university,

degree students should bring the original certificates (degree diplomas etc) with them and inform the International Office about their arrival.
exchange students should inform the International Office about their arrival through SoleMove.

Below you can find a summary of the necessary forms and deadlines, please note that the forms and deadlines can vary if you are a degree student or an exchange student.

Arrival Information	Send the Arrival information form to International Office international.relations(at)ulapland.fi or fax +358 16 362 941 by 31 July 2012 at the latest!	Send the Arrival information Form to International Office through SoleMove by 31 July 2012 / 2nd December 2012.
Confirmation of Accepting the Study Place	Send the Confirmation of Study place by 31 July 2012 at 16:15 to Student Services P.O. Box 122, FI-96101 Rovaniemi or by fax +358 16 362 930.	Confirm the Stydy Place through SoleMove by 31 July 2012 / 2nd December 2012.
Registration and Student Union Fee	Registration as attending or non-attending student for academic year 2011-2012 should be send to Student Services P.O. Box 122, FI-96101 Rovaniemi or by fax +358 16 362 930. by 31 July 2012. Please note that you need to pay the Student Union membership fee before enrolment by 31 July 2012 at the latest and return the receipt with the registration form. More information on the Registration and how to pay the Student Union membership fee can be found here.	Send the Registration Form to International Office international.relations(at)ulapland.fi by fax +358 16 362 941 by 31 July 2012 / 2nd December 2012 at the latest! If you haven’t sent your Registration Form by this date, your ICT user account is not ready in orientation week and you are not able to register for the courses. In this case it will take few weeks after your arrival.
Cerfiticates	Take the original certificates with you when you start your studies. International Coordinator at the Faculty will check your certificates.
A Student Card	After paying the Student Union membership fee, you can fill in the online application for Lyyra Student Card at www.lyyra.fi. You will need a digital photo to attach to the application. More information will be given during the orientation week.	You can pay and apply for the Student Card during the orientation week. Accommodation	Please notice that it is very important to arrange the accommodation before your arrival! Apply for DAS Housing as soon as possible! Online application on www.das.fi. In all housing related issues please contact Dasaspa(at)das.fi.	Apply for DAS Housing as soon as possible! DAS can guarantee housing for exchange student if you apply by July 11 2012 (Autumn semester and Full year admission) / mid November (Spring semester, to be confirmed) on www.das.fi.
