Results of the selection process will be announced on 5 May 2017. Information about results and beginning of the progamme will be announced to all applicants by email. The email will contain the admission offer. Names of the accepted students, who have given permission in the Application Form, will also be published at the University of Lapland's website.

Accepted students will receive a letter of acceptance and a form with which an accepted student must inform whether he or she will receive or retract the study place. This form must be returned by 10 June 2017. Otherwise the applicant will lose the study place.


Accepting the Study Place Offer

Students admitted to the programme must accept or decline their study place by notifying the Student services office of the University of Lapland by June 10, 2017. Admitted students who fail to notify the University whether they wish to accept their place or fail to submit the required documents by the due date will have waived their right to study.

How to Appeal?

Master’s degree applicants who are not satisfied with the results of the student selection may appeal in writing to the respective faculty. Such an appeal must be submitted within 14 days from the time the applicant had the possibility of receiving information on the student selection.

In the appeal the applicant must specify in what way he/she is not satisfied with the result and on what grounds he/she is appealing to change the student selection results. The appeal must be written, addressed to the dean of the faculty and submitted to the University of Lapland, Registry Office.
