INCLUSIVE EDUCATION: SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL ASPECTS
The project objective is to contribute to ensuring equal opportunities for learners with different types of special needs (vulnerable groups) in socio-psychological, educational, and social terms. The project aims at supporting processes of strengthening the capacity of the education systems to reach out to all learners. In other words, to help ordinary schools to become more inclusive, which means to become better at educating all children in their communities.
Project objectives are based on the education policy objectives of Europe and partner countries to build an education system that guarantees equal rights and opportunities to all pupils regardless of their health state, social conditions, cultural background, race, etc.
1) Enhancing the quality and relevance of the learning offer in education, training and youth work by developing new and innovative approaches and supporting the dissemination of best practices. Through scientific research, best practice of inclusive education in partner countries will be analyzed, it will be summarized in a scientific study and scientific articles as well as applied in schools using the methodological recommendations proposed, and in institutions of higher education by implementing a joint study course. These project outcomes will contribute to the shift in the approach of the European educators towards ensuring equal rights of the pupils with special needs in the education system.
2) Fostering equity and inclusion in education, training and youth, to enable quality learning for all as well as to prevent drop-out and promote participation of disadvantaged groups in society. The activities and intellectual products of the project serve to ensure equal rights of the pupils in education and are aimed at improving the competence of teachers at schools and institutions of higher education as well as students (future teachers) in the field. This will ensure the sustainability of the results of the project.
