DILACOMI – Different Land Use Activities and Local Communities in Mining Projects
DILACOMI is a research consortium of the University of Lapland, University of Oulu and Finnish Forest Research Institute (Metla), which consists of separate work packages run by these research units and are coordinated by the Faculty of Law at the University of Lapland. The research project was initiated at the beginning of 2011 and will continue until the end of 2013.
The subject of research is mining and mines, and how they affect and are able to function in the local communities. The more accurate descriptions of each separate research project can be found in the menu on the left.

link. The project is funded by the ERDF granted by Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation. DILACOMI project also belongs to Green Mining program coordinated by Tekes.
