Major subjects in the Faculty of Social Sciences

The subjects available for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences are administrative sciences, applied psychology, management, international relations, rehabilitation science, tourism research, social work, sociology, and political science. A Master’s degree with social work as the main subject makes a person eligible for the posts of a social worker in accordance with the Act on Qualification Requirements for Social Welfare Professionals (272/2005).

An applied psychology student graduates as a Bachelor of Social Sciences with applied psychology as the major subject. At master's level one studies administrative sciences as the main subject and specializes in leadership psychology.

Students of administrative science and public law become Bachelors and Masters of Administrative Science.
