Applied psychology is a discipline that can only be studied at the University of Lapland. The student graduates as Bachelor of Social Sciences with applied psychology as the major subject. The studies include basic and subject studies in psychology. When taking the second-cycle degree, the student takes the Master’s degree in Administrative science with administrative science as the major subject, more specifically the psychology of leadership.
The starting point for training in Master’s degree programme are human experiences. The student will qualify as a manager of people, personnel and organisations. Practical and research skills to understand one’s own as well as other people’s experiences are created during the studies.
