Faculty of Art and Design
Founded on 1 August 1990 as Department of Art.
Merged with the Rovaniemi Institute of Industrial Design and Handicrafts 1996.
Now one of the two university-level art and design institutions in Finland to offer education in the field of design up to doctorate degree.
