Please change your passwords according to following password policy

Password Policy of User name of University of Lapland

Password has at least 8 characters. Among the first 8 characters shall appear small and upper letters, numbers or special characters. Do not use following special characters { }[ ] | or characters in the Swedish/Finnish alphabet (åäö).

When selecting a password, do not use your username, your first or last name or any word in a dictionary, because they are very easy to figure out with an appropriate computer program. In addition, the password should be easy to remember, but hard to guess.

When password has to change, system remembers three latest passwords and do not allow to use these passwords as a new password.

Do not use same passwords in University environment as you use in Internet services like Facebook, Gmail, Hotmail etc.
