Teaching Staff Mobility – application deadline September 16, 2011

Teaching staff mobility can be realized with the programmes Erasmus, First and Nordplus or as bilateral exchange. The destination of the Teaching Staff Mobility can be a partner university in the member countries of the European Union (Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility Programme), a Russian partner university (FIRST programme), a Nordic university in the Nordplus Network for the teachers of the Faculty of Art and Design, or a bilateral partner university of the University of Lapland. The list of partner universities of the University of Lapland can be found here.

There are altogether 27 Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility Programme grants, 4 for FIRST programme and for FIRST Artsmo 1-2 for the academic year 2011-2012. The teachers of the Faculty of Art and Design can enquire more information about teaching mobility to the Nordic countries with the Nordplus programme from the International Coordinator Virpi Nurmela.

The Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility Programme requires that the teaching of the outgoing teacher from the University of Lapland must be included as part of the regular curriculum of the host university. The teaching can be carried out in any level.

Guidelines for the teaching staff mobility and application procedure:

Note that the decision is conditional and requires that a Teaching Programme for the confirmed mobility is returned before any travel reservations can be made. In addition, a confirmation of the mobility and a final report should be done after the mobility.
The application form should be returned to the International Coordinator of the Faculty by September 16. The International Office will make the decision by October 14 at the latest based on prioritizations made at the Faculty level.
