Publishing Activities

The policy of LUP’s publishing activities, which are increasing and developing, is defined by an executive group, which the rector nominates for a three-year period.

Most of the published books have been written or edited by members of the staff of the university, but anyone writing a manuscript for a scientific book can make a proposal for a publication. Manuscripts dealing with the society and cultural history of Lapland and/or related to the different scientific fields of our university are of special interest. All published manuscripts have been peer-reviewed.
