Born in 1963 in Rovaniemi, Lapland , Finland

Since 1985 worked both as a classroom and an art teacher in various schools in comprehensive and high school levels. Since 1997 a senior lecturer in art education in the University of Lapland . During the academic year 2006-2007 worked as a professor in art education in the University of Lapland .
