Voluntaris Polaris

Voluntas Polaris, “The Will of the North”, is a multidisciplinary research project funded by the Academy of Finland . The aim of the project is to study influence of individual agency to societal emancipation in the northern context. Voluntas Polaris explores the varieties of science and art, history and the present.

Home of the Voluntas Polaris is at the University of Lapland . The project also includes extensive group of national and international experts.
