Welcome to the Institute of Air and Space Law (IASL) of the University of Lapland.    The Institute is one among the three centres of excellence on air and space law in Europe and the only one of its own kind in the Nordic region. Being housed within the Faculty of Law of the University of Lapland, the Institute proffers high quality education and consultancy services in the field of air and space law. IASL has extensive links with International Astronautical Federation (IAF), International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), International Institute of Air and Space Law (IISL) and European Center of Space Law (ECSL). The Institute also maintains association with other air and space law institutes through exchange of information and personnel. We hope that the information provided here are of utility that will encourage co-operation and interest in this vital area.
