The Welcome Reception hosted by the City of Rovaniemi will be arranged at the Rovaniemi City Hall , Hallituskatu 7. Advance registration is required. No transfer provided. The reception is included in the registration fee.
Conference Dinner
Friday 28 May at 20.00 onwards
The conference dinner will take place at a surprise venue
located at an about 15 minutes’ bus drive from Rovaniemi. Bus
transfer from the conference hotels to the dinner venue at 19.40 and
back after dinner will be provided. Advance registration is required.
The evening will include a served three-course dinner with drinks and a
programme. The dinner is included in the registration fee.

Visit to Santa Claus Village and a Reindeer Farm
Say hello to Santa himself…
Meet your guide in your hotel lobby before transfer by coach to Santa Village. Santa has chosen this magic line of Arctic Circle
to be the place for his office. Meet the man in person and tell him
your wishes. Free time for shopping at Santa’s shopping gallery and e.g.
for sending your regards back home with a special stamp from Santa´s
Main Post Office. Then coach transfer to local reindeer farm.
Upon arrival at the farm you will experience the mysterious ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle in a dusky Kota-teepee. You will also learn facts and fiction about reindeer herding in Finland . Coffee/tea and pancake will be served. Then coach transfer back to city centre.
