University Anniversary at the Korundi House of Culture

The University of Lapland celebrates its anniversary on 1 March 2012 at the Korundi House of Culture.

The party for the staff begins at 13:00 with the concert by the Chamber Orchestra of Lapland. The repertoire consists of the Clarinet Quartet by Bernhard Henrik Crusell, the Sinfonietta for strings by Albert Roussel and Nonetto op.31 by Louis Spohr.

We also reveal the teacher of the year, selected by the Student Union, and the honorary doctors to be awarded at the Ceremonial Conferment of Degrees 2012. In addition, we hand out the annual awards to the personnel.

After the celebration, there are coffee and cake served, as well as a possibility to visit the exhibitions at the Korundi House of Culture.
