Paper Submission

Call for papers is now closed and submitters have been informed of the review results.

Presentation times
  • full papers 20 minutes including discussion
  • short papers 15 minutes including discussion
  • abstracts 10 minutes including discussion

The abstracts of all accepted submissions will be printed in the abstract book included in the conference materials.

Please make the corrections to your paper/abstract following the reviewers’ instructions sent to you. Send in your final paper/abstract by 30 June 2013. As the online submission system is closed, please send it by email to the conference office (congress@ulapland.fi).

The number of submitted full papers was not high enough to print a proceedings before the conference. However, all submitters are welcome to submit a full or short paper later - the deadline for camera-ready papers is 5 August 2013. The papers submitted by this deadline will go through a new review and the best papers will be published after the conference as a proceedings or an edited book.

Submissions are accepted in Microsoft Word DOC format only. All authors should use the article template as a basis for compiling their articles. The sample illustrates the general format for articles, and – more importantly - introduces the Word styles to be used when encoding the structure of articles.

All articles should be written in English (American English, if possible). Only papers presented at the conference will be included in the conference materials.
