Conference Opening and Welcoming Dinner Monday 15 June at 19-21 The Welcoming Dinner including the Conference Opening will be arranged at Restaurant Kiela of the Sallatunturin Tuvat. The evening includes a buffer dinner with drinks. The event is included in the registration fee for all registered participants. Advance registration is required. Wilderness Hiking Tour Tuesday 16 June at 20 (3-4 hours) The hiking tour will start from the main building of the Sallatunturin Tuvat. During the hiking tour you will experience by foot the wild nature and midnight sun in Lapland. The guides will lead you through a Lappish nature (hills, fells) up to the top of Sallatunturi where you will enjoy some refreshments and relax by open fire before walking back to Sallatunturin Tuvat. The route is not very difficult – it is suitable for ‘everyman’, but please wear sturdy walking shoes. The tour is included in the registration fee for all registered participants. Advance registration is required. Conference Closing Dinner Wednesday 17 June at 19 The closing dinner will be arranged at Restaurant Kiela of the Sallatunturin Tuvat. It is a served dinner with drinks. The dinner will be hosted by Mr. Erkki Parkkinen, the Mayor of the Municipality of Salla. The dinner is included in the registration fee for all registered participants. Advance registration is required.
