In Community, Art and Environment minor studies you can specialise in community or environmental art. Focusing on aesthetics, ethics and experiments, the studies introduce you to the process of carrying out community and environmental art projects.
The minor study module prepares you for the tasks of planning and organising new development projects between art education, art and culture organisations and other actors in the field. You will also learn how to improve the operational conditions of art in different environments and communities.
Your studies will develop your expertise in community and environmental arts, with the focus on northern living environments. The studies will also deepen your knowledge of the Arctic conditions and provide you with skills to respond to the Arctic change. You will be able to develop and reform not only your artistic expression but also your methods of working with different organisations, communities and art education.
