Context-Based Assesment and Problem-Based Learning in Health Care Education in Rovaniemi College of Health and Welfare.

The purpose of the study is to find out how assessment and evaluation practices are implemented and developed in problem-based curriculum in Health Care Education. The theoretical background lies in ideas of contextual assessment. The focus of the study in self-, process- and product-assessment practices and how the students experience the assessment help them in their learning. Data is gathered by observation and interviews (students and teachers) during 2006.
