This group focuses on governance and regulation of economic, social and environmental sustainability.
The group members develop multidiciplinary research projects, educational programmes and discuss various legal topics related to sustainability such as environmental law, public procurement, corporate social responsibility, insolvency and crime, human rights, property rights, IP rights etc.
The group works in close cooperation with the Arctic Center and the Faculty of Social Sciences on topics related to global arctic governance, environmental policy, philosophy, legal pluralism and multilevel governance. The interplay with law and science is also on the agenda. The focus is on the impact of global and local economic development on the environment, indigenous cultures and economic activities.
