Nordic biomedical and health law conference

The next conference will be held in Finland, Rovaniemi 11.-12.10.2018.

The theme of the conference is quit open in a way that it will cover a wide range of Nordic research in biomedical and health law with some special themes. Preliminary topics for the themes of the days are:

 1. Relationship and interaction between law and medicine

2. Patient´s rights and changing role of health care professionals

3. Regulation of health care services

4. Artificial intelligence and technology in health care and challenges for regulation

 Seniors as well as junior researchers are most welcome to present at the conference.


 Preliminary time schedule:

First day 11.10.2018: 12.00-17.30 Paper presentations and 19.00 Dinner

Second day 12.10.2018: 9.00-15.00 Paper presentations including lunch

 Deadline for abstracts is June 15th 2018 and we kindly ask you to send the abstracts (1 page, information about choice of theme, full contact details and institutional affiliations) to


 The conference will be held at the University of Lapland, Faculty of Law The conference is free of charge as well as lunch and dinner. Unfortunately  we are not able to pay for travels and hotels. The registration will open 7th  of May (see the link below).
