The University of Lapland’s Access Control System STid Mobile ID

The access control system STid Mobile ID (Stid) is used on the University of Lapland campus. The STid mobile application, which can be downloaded and installed on a smartphone, enables the university staff members and students access to the university premises outside the opening hours of the university. The spaces accessible outside the opening hours include the F-wing (Faculty of Art and Design), the learning environments, the LUC library, and the EXAM rooms.

In addition to the University of Lapland campus, the STid Mobile ID access control system is also in use on the Kemi and Tornio campuses of the Lapland UAS. The students of the University of Lapland will be automatically granted access rights also to the Kosmos Library located on the Kemi campus and the Minerva self-service library located on the Tornio campus.

The instructions for downloading and activating STid will be sent to your staff or student email address (the ulapland email address). When installing the application on your smartphone, please follow the instructions you received by email.

If you have not received an email with instructions on downloading the STid application and your personal activation link, please contact: kampuspalvelut(at)ulapland.fI
