In this degree programme you will examine arts and visual culture in terms of education and teaching. You become familiar with the methods of modern art through an experiential and multisensory approach under northern conditions.
In this degree programme you become familiar with the use of audiovisual media in artistic, expressive and communicative work. Our research intertwines with artistic and productive activities and the design industry.
The Degree Programme in Interior and Textile Design is the only master's level degree programme in the textile field in Finland; you can study it only at our university.
The Master's degree in Arctic Art and Design (AAD) focuses on creative collaborations in the 'real world'. For example, our students may work with social work services, health and wellbeing professionals or the tourist industry. The degree studies include applied visual art, service design, research methods, project planning and Arctic Culture

means that the majors offered in the faculties provide courses from
which students in different majors can put together minors.
