Update on the University of Lapland’s COVID-19 guidelines: Restrictions on public events and gatherings lifted
7.2.2022
As of 7 February, public events and gatherings can be organized in the premises of the University of Lapland. The updated guidelines are based on the decision by the Regional State Administrative Agency of Lapland to lift the restrictions on public events and gatherings in the Lapland area. A safety plan is required for public events and gatherings. At the University of Lapland, additional information on making the safety plan is available from our safety specialist Reijo Huhtala.
Events involving the basic functions of the university (such as teaching, public defences of dissertations, or internal events of the University) are not public events.
Masks continue to be recommended in the University’s premises. Everyone is expected to practice good hygiene and maintain safe distancing. Please do not attend campus if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19.
