Finnish Education Evaluation Centre (FINEEC) conducts an audit of the University of Lapland. A two-day audit visit at the University of Lapland is carried out 1-2 December 2021.
The audit is conducted by the following audit team selected by Higher Education Evaluation Committee

The audit process has been started with benchlearning in spring 2020.
According to the principles of enhancement-led evaluation, the purpose

activities and to learn from the good practices of another organization.
The benchlearning partner of the University of Lapland is University of
Helsinki and the benchlearning target is student feedback system.
After passing the audit, the higher education institution (HEI) will
receive an audit certificate and FINEEC’s quality label. The quality
label is valid for six years from the decision of the Higher Education
Evaluation Committee.

procedures used by the higher education institution to maintain and
enhance the quality of its activities.
The evaluation areas
1. HEI creates competence
2. HEI promotes impact and renewal
3. HEI enhances quality and well-being
4. HEI as a learning organization
