This year, the northernmost design festival in the world returns to its roots at the University of Lapland. Arctic Design Week goes Campus brings together interesting exhibitions, lectures, workshops and a fashion show.
Arctic Design Week goes Campus is organized by the Faculty of Art and Design of the University of Lapland from the 18th to the 24th of March. The program of the week offers various events where locals and tourists can dive into the world of arctic design. During the week, various design events take place both on the university campus and in the city.
The program includes, for example, a workshop on the role of time and technology as developers of working life, a lecture focusing on textile and pattern design, an Aalto-themed workshop, a fashion show and several art exhibitions in shopping centers and university galleries, for example. The events of the ADW goes Campus week are open to everyone, but some events require advance registration.
