The works are done with various techniques but they all hold in common their relation to the theme. The exhibition contains paintings, installations, typography – all related to the theme with such topics as life, natures course, tales and travelling.

The art society Kalto has been established in the fall of 2013 to bring forth art made by the students of the University of Lapland. The society was born out of the ambitions of students and it has motivated them to create art outside of normal coursework. Kalto creates connections between students especially now when the Faculty of Art and Design operates in three campuses. The exhibition is a showcase of the students' talents and ambitions towards creating art and doing it together.

The exhibition is open in Valsa building in Gallery Värinä (address: Valtakatu 19, second floor, Rovaniemi) from 4th to 24th of May. Opening hours: Tue–Sun from 2 pm to 6 pm. The opening of the exhibition will be held on Saturday, 3rd of May at 6:00 pm.
