COVID-19 Guidelines: The University of Lapland’s teaching arrangements for the period 28 December 2021 to 16 January 2022
22.12.2021
The University of Lapland’s COVID-19 guidelines have been updated for the period 28 December 2021 to 16 January 2022.
The recommendation for remote teaching is effective until 16 January 2022. Teaching can be delivered face to face only when necessary, for example where courses require hands-on instruction and work (such as laboratory work), and in case of teaching arranged for new exchange students starting in January. The teacher in charge of a course is responsible for informing the course participants of the teaching arrangements.
The university libraries and self-study spaces remain open and the users of the spaces are expected to follow the appropriate health and safety instructions.
National guidelines are followed regarding the university restaurants.
Other work and activities are conducted in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines updated on 1 December 2021.
Masks continue to be strongly recommended in the University premises and everyone is expected to follow the health and safety instructions while on campus. We recommend that all our students and personnel have the COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 testing is primarily available through public health care services, but we also encourage using at-home COVID-19 tests.
