According to the Rector’s decision, as of 1 January 2019 the University of Lapland will no longer sell doctoral theses (Acta Universitatis Lapponiensis series). In the future, all theses will be published in electronic format.
By the end of this year the university will stop keeping a stock of printed theses. Authors may fetch all or some of their remaining copies from the university library starting Monday 26 November. As we will not send dissertations to the authors, you should fetch them yourself or have them brought to you by someone else.
To check the number of copies of your thesis in stock, please email us at kirjasto@ulapland.fi or call our customer service at 040 484 4302.
Publications will go on sale in the beginning of December. During the campaign, as many theses as possible will also be sold from the stock. Authors may fetch their copies as long as there are items in stock. Unfortunately, owing to outdated contact information and a tight schedule we cannot reach all the authors. Please, use your networks to disseminate this information.
