Dr. Kamrul Hossain has been invited as Visiting Professor in China

Dr. Kamrul Hossain, senior researcher of the Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law at the Arctic Centre, has been invited by the School of Law of Harbin Institute of Technology in China as a visiting professor from 19 to 31 December 2010.
Dr. Hossain will give a series of lectures on international environmental law and legal issues related to the Arctic during his stay in Harbin. In addition, he will take part in the academic activities of the Harbin Law School. He will also give a short presentation on the Arctic Centre.
Harbin Institute of Technology is one of the leading Universities in China established in 1920. Out of the six key Universities designated by the Ministry of Education of China, Harbin Institute of Technology has been the only one outside Beijing. At present it has approximately 40,000 students and nearly 3000 teachers.
