University of Maribor is the second largest Slovene university. It has 17 faculties and approximately 14000 students. According to "Ranking Web of World Universities", the University of Maribor is in the top 15 of “Top Central and Eastern Europe Universities". As an adjunct professor, García-Rosell will take part in teaching activities, supervision of doctoral students and the promotion of research collaboration.

He obtained a PhD in Management from the University of Lapland (2013), a Licentiate Degree in Marketing from the University of Oulu (2009) and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (2001).
