Junior Researcher in doctoral programme Communities and Changing Work

Applications are invited for two (2) vacant Junior Researcher posts at the University of Lapland, in the doctoral programme Communities and Changing Work. These two fixed-term positions will be filled from 2 January 2015 to 31 December 2018.

Salient themes in the doctoral programme are changes in private and public communities, in work, and in working environments and operational contexts. The topic should focus on special features in the North.

The responsibilities of a junior researcher include completing a doctoral degree at the University of Lapland and participating in teaching of the related field. Working time used for teaching is to be max. 5% of the total working time. The appointees are to conduct their doctoral dissertation work on a full-time basis and to participate in other activities of the graduate school in Rovaniemi.
