Labour Mobility in the European North seminar 11.–12.4.

Labour mobility seminar will be hold at University of Lapland 11th and 12th of April. Themes of the seminar are for example foreign berry pickers in Finnish and Swedish Lapland, mobility of highly educated employees and trade union responses to transnational labour mobility.
Keynote speaker is professor Karen O'Reilly from Loughborough University in UK. She has been researching British retirees in Spain and lifestyle travelling and published many texts about ethnography as a research method. Another international speakers are Aina Tollefsen from Sweden and Marit Aure and Johan Fredrik for Norway, who are researchers of migration and working life.
Organizer of the seminar is Steady Work in a Shifting Society project together with TyöVerkko graduate school.
Seminar is open to the public and it is free of charge. Registration by 8th of April by sending an e-mail to saara.koikkalainen (at) gmail.com. The seminar will be hold in English.
