Arctic Centre at the University of Lapland is involved in organizing two integrated international Arctic events in mid-November 2017. The 10th Polar Law Symposium is organized 13–14 and Rovaniemi Arctic Spirit 14–16 November.
Calls for presentations and posters are open to both events. The Polar Law Symposium will have several parallel sessions where researches will have a chance to present their papers which will also be published in the Yearbook of Polar Law.
Rovaniemi Arctic Spirit conference invites researchers to submit a proposal to speak at Pre Event: Sustainable Development and the Arctic held on 14th November. For the main conference organizers are inviting poster presentations on the different themes of the conference. Rest of the programme will consist of moderated panel discussions.
