Photo exhibition by Carlos Crespo in the University’s main hall

Ciudades is a work by Swiss photographer Carlos Crespo, begun in 1994, during his training to become a professional photographer. It is a portrait of cities around the world during the summertime.
The artist’s
intent is to capture the light and wispy atmosphere of these cities, but
at the same time to show that they have a soul and can be a source of
inspiration.
The exhibition is open at the University of Lapland
until 31 October, during the University’s opening hours. The exhibition
is brought to Rovaniemi by the Swiss Embassy in Helsinki in cooperation
with German lecturer Jörn Severidt.
