Photograph "520 reindeers" from Venezuela to the Arctic Centre

On Sunday 2nd December 2012 the Arktikum House has its 20 years anniversary and the Ministry of foreign affairs comes to Rovaniemi with a gift from famous Venezuelan photographer Antonio Briceno: a big photograph called 520 Renos (520 Reindeers). Before coming to the Arctic Centre the picture has been on display at the UN headquarters, New York.
Briceno has been travelling the globe photographing different cultures, their faiths and traditions. The Finnish embassy helped him to organize a Sami and reindeer photo exhibition in Caracas, Venezuela. The photographer and the Ministry want to congratulate the Arctic Centre with this picture. The Arctic Centre and the Ministry have been in cooperation in efforts to establish the EU Arctic Information Centre.
