The University of Lapland and the Peruvian Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (PUCP) have signed an Erasmus+ ICM mobility agreement. The agreement originated from the collaboration between the University of Lapland and PUCP in the INCLUSION research project. At the end of January, the INCLUSION project organized in Peru an intensive course, which was also attended by researchers and students from the University of Lapland.
The new mobility agreement enables student, teacher, researcher and personnel exchange between the University of Lapland and PUCP. The University of Lapland has approximately 250 international partners in Europe and a couple of dozen in other parts of the world. PUCP is a non-profit private university founded in 1917 in Lima, the capital of Peru. The university has 16 departments, 13 faculties, more than 30 000 students and more than 5 000 employees.

The INCLUSION project is coordinated by the Faculty of Law of the University of Lapland and the Arctic Center. The University of Helsinki's Faculty of Law and Faculty of Humanities and PUCP's graduate school are also involved. The Finnish National Agency for Education funds of the project.
