European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organises together with the Arctic Centre of the University of Lapland a public hearing on EU Arctic Policy to address globally emerging interests in the region – a view of civil society.
The hearing will take place in Rovaniemi on Thursday 31st Jan, from 2 pm to 6:30 pm, at the Arktikum House (address: Pohjoisranta 4, Rovaniemi).
The speakers represent EESC, EU Parliament and Commission, the Arctic Council, local stakeholders and Arctic research.
Participation is open for interested public but
pre-registration is obligatory. Deadline for registrations is January 18.
The registration form must be forwarded by e-mail or fax to EESC.
