The University of Lapland will host a seminar on mobility between Sweden and Finland and obstacles to cross-border cooperation. Mobility will be examined from the perspective of research and education. The seminar is open to all and will take place on Thursday 24th October 2024 from 13–16.

Two internationally renowned professors,
Martin Finkelstein and
Ulrich Teichler, will give their views on the topic.
The seminar will be organised as a hybrid event, which can be attended either on-site at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi or online. Participants can use Finnish, Swedish or English as their language.
The seminar is organised in cooperation between the University of Lapland and the Hanaholmen Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre.
