The overall purpose of the symposium is to discuss tourism safety and security networks and safety management in the service chain. The special aim is to stimulate discussions on global changes having local implications in risk management.

Symposium is organized by Lapland Institute for Tourism Research and Education and the project of Tourism Safety and Security System in Lapland.
