The Dean of the Faculty of Law Soili Nysten-Haarala took part in the kick-off meeting of the project “Legal Challenges in International Investments, Indigenous Peoples and Environment Protection” that took place in Riga on 28 September 2018.
The project is funded with the support from the European Comission within Erasmus+ Program. The duration of the programme is 2 years (September 2018-September 2020), it is coordinated by the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and involves the University of Lapland and Riga Graduate School of Law as the strategic partners.
The project aims to provide the knowledge on international business law, environment protection, sustainable development and the protection of vulnerable human groups. The project envisages the creation of research materials and teaching cources.
