The cashier operations of the University are taken to the library

19.3.2013

The cashier services of the University of Lapland are taken to the library as of 20 March.

University students can then make the following payments through the library:

• Study material, book purchases and thesis printing payments;
• Pass and locker pawn payment and pawn return. The keys are handed out by the facility service personnel;
• Payment to re-enroll at the university.

As before, course material payments will be collected mainly by the faculties or through invoicing. Printing services (e.g. printing of theses) are ordered through the Printing Centre and finished prints are fetched from and paid at the library.

University personnel will be able to make the following payments and withdrawals through the library:

• *Personnel's grants paid in cash*
• Exercise voucher payment
• Guest house rental payment

*The library should be informed beforehand by email: aila.koho (at) ulapland.fi, eija.ruokanen (at) ulapland.fi and tarja.hakkinen (at) ulapland.fi

In case of a larger advance payment needed in a foreign project, please contact Finance Manager Matti Honkala. Money transactions in advance payments will occur directly through the bank. Our plan is to start invoicing the guest house rental during the year 2013.
