University of Lapland updated COVID-19 -guidelines: Face masks strongly recommended and limitations to face-to-face teaching

12.10.2020

The University of Lapland updated COVID-19 guidelines starting from 12th of October. The purpose of our updated guidelines is to ensure that the university will be able to continue to operate in the hybrid mode of work.

Face masks strongly recommended while on campus

Face masks are strongly recommended while in the shared spaces on campus. This means that we strongly recommend wearing face masks in the corridors, lobbies, classrooms, and any other shared spaces on campus.

Update to instructions on teaching delivery and gatherings

Face-to-face teaching will be delivered only when strictly necessary (for example courses involving laboratory work). The 50-person limit per space applies to all face-to-face teaching situations at the University of Lapland. We recommend arranging meetings and gatherings remotely.
