Each training lasts for three hours, they are free of charge and the participants get a course certificate. After the training you can start volunteering in the Red Cross activities.

Basic Course on Friend Activities prepares you to act as a volunteer friend to someone who suffers from loneliness regardless of their background. If you know how to listen to another person and be present, you have the skills to be a friend volunteer. No special skills are required.

• In Rovaniemi the training is on November 17th at 1pm to 4pm in the lecture hall LS 19 Eeli Hall, online registration by November 14th
  
• In Kemi the training is on December 2nd at 3pm to 6pm in the classroom 2032, online registration by November 29th
