Job For You

The Job For You project attracts international talents with higher education to the Lapland region by providing quality guidance to the target group of jobseekers and improving their employability skills. The project promotes interaction and co-creation between intenational job seekers and industry, including on diversity in working life. It will guide graduates in building a career path that matches their skills and build employment solutions together with employers. The project supports employers in finding and recruiting skilled workers.

The guidance skills of experts in information, advice and guidance work in the Lapland region will be developed from a multicultural perspective. The training of guidance skills provided by the project will enhance the employment and integration of international jobseekers in the region, responding to the challenge of meeting the needs of the region.

For whom? Highly qualified professionals and their spouses from the Lapland region. Guidance, career counsellors and experts working on employment in the Lapland region, as well as companies and work communities in the region.

When, where and how? Individual guidance for jobseekers is provided through face-to-face and distance learning in the Lapland region. Training courses will be organised for the trainers, including on diversity, starting in spring 2024.

The project is co-funded by the European Union.

The project will run from 1.5.2023 to 30.4.2026
